Unknown Dog Keeps Walking Into Her Home and Going To Sleep — Then She Finds A Note Tied To His Collar

In the story that follows, we meet a woman who spots a weary looking dog in her garden. The dog, who had kind big eyes and a beautiful coat of fur, looked well-fed, and in good shape, then started to follow her into her house and to her amazement, he then proceeded to gently curl up on the floor and take a nap.

After the dog woke up a short time later, he simply stood up, acknowledged the woman as if to say thank you and left. To her utter astonishment, the very next day when the woman got back from the shops she found the same dog in her garden once more, he then followed her into the house and napped. The dog kept coming back to take a nap, usually for an hour and would then leave.

his carried on for many weeks until the woman decided that she would attach a note to the dog’s collar, the idea was that the owner of the dog might read it and possibly respond? She was so curious as to why the dog was using her house to catch up on his sleep, she liked the dog very much, so it wasn’t a problem but she just wondered all the same.

When the dog returned next, he had a new note attached to his collar and all of the woman’s questions were answered.

But you’ll just have to keep reading to find out…

“An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard; I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.”

“He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head.

He then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.”

“The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour.

This continued off and on for several weeks.”

“Curious I pinned a note to his collar:

‘I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.’”

“The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar:

‘He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 he’s trying to catch up on his sleep.

Can I come with him tomorrow?’”

Children who grow up around dogs are extremely lucky to have such loyal canine friends and let’s face it, family members! Sometimes though, just like parents, they might need a little break, rest and ‘me time.’
